FINAL DAY TODAY FOR BILLABONG PRO TAHARA PRESENTED BY XPERIA SONY SMARTPHONE AT TAHARA AICHI

The ASP 4 Star Event Billabong Pro Tahara presented by XPERIA Sony Smartphone, is the largest surfing event in Japan. Final and Day 5 today the event went on schedule for the quarter, semis and grand finals.

With clear skies and summer weather at Tahara this morning the conditions are 1 to 3 ft.(1meter) with clean conditions.

First up in the water this morning for final day is Kenta Hayashi and Masatoshi Ono in heat 1 of quarter finals.

Running for 5 days, the event started today on the 25th of July and will run through to the 29th, at Tahara in Aichi Prefecture. The event boasts a total prize pool of USD $95,000 and will be held at Long Beach, Irago. Long Beach is a magical stretch of beach, which boasts potential high performance beach breaks is well known for its perfect sand banks which once formed make Long Beach a high quality left hand point break.
