Well, Jihad surfed good but Kelly took more risk on his last wave: roller, floater, rentrie, little barrel..the judges and scores seems to be ok, very closed in fact from one to another.
Kelly's surf is more varied in this heat, more different than the "school" one of Jihad, even if he surfed very well in this heat, in a classic way..roller 1, roller 2, roller 3...

By the way did anyone see Kelly's barrel and how he mixed up monovers with crips turns, tail slides, reverses? People that don't think he won this heat are blind.

Kelly is injured and hadn't surfed since Hossegor. He could barly walk two days ago, then he goes out in his heat and blows up! Jihad did get one long wave with incredable, staight up and down turns, which was probably the best wave in the heat, but overall Kelly took it. Kelly is the best surfer that has walked this planet. Hands down!

More people should read and understand the ASP judging criteria.
Jihad is not commited (kelly's last turn on each waves are sick), his turns arent finished is always at the top of the wave, his first turns are flat.... he surfed well but thats where the difference is!
